How too little sleep makes you win anyways
Eurotour Malaga:
Well Line had to make a lot of hours ( working at a new job in the poollounge elbowroom Oslo) during the last few weeks. That means sleeping is almost out of the question and like allready mentioned resulted in the fact that Line slept in and had to take a later flight to Malaga. With a stopover in Paris and what's normally done in 4 hours took about 8 hours now. Up to bed.. and prepare for the worst because the draw brought in Jasmin and Daryl Peach. Bold as we are we went in to town with a rented car instead of taking the shuttle bus. That is like being really blond because we couldn't find it. Phoned a dutch guy ( thanxs Wil) who gave us the phonenumber of Ted, who transferred his phone to Enrique ( headreferee) and managed that they wouldn't give Line and Jasmin a penalty. Hailed a cab and drove right behind it with the car but still we did not make it on time. IN THA HOUSE and that ment that the eurotour for men could start with a dominating looking Jasmin and a tired looking Line getting ready to set and go. Well the rest you know... won 3 matches and lost 2.. place 33!
Went bowling in the evening. With Gilliano, Huidsjee, Kynthia and Jasmin! After that played on a soccermachine and showed are skills over there. Had a few drinks and a lot of fun.Took the early flight home to Oslo and worked till 3 in the morning again. It's great to be a working poolplayer... isn't it :-) !!
Norwegian Championships Straight pool:
Let me be short about last weekend. Only 5 women competed in the Norwegian Championships Straight pool. So they had to play eachother in a poolsystem where Line finished first. On sunday she won her semifinal match and played Iselin for the Crown that afternoon. Line won in what she called the worst straight pool match she ever played. Well I say: " when the balls don't fall your way, your way make the balls fall". Enough said about that.
