I have dedicated a lot of time and effort into creating and developing a concept. I'm happy to say it has paid off. I've decided not to compete with the high flowing high-tech cue market.
Instead I chose to move away from catering for the specific demands of vastly investing players to another section. I'm going to focus on the player who has just started out, the recreational player who wants good value for money. We've all been there when we just began to play. You wanted to buy a cue and the house pro's advised you to buy a ‘Schön' or a ‘Joss' but especially recommended ‘the nuts' of the day; a ‘Meucci'.
Today they would tell you to get other name cues' equipped with much more technical gadgets than was presented to me at the time: ACSS, deflection, the whippy shaft, etc. The price tag enhanced to these cues are so steep that many of these players question the necessity for such an investment. It is exactly for this group that I have developed a cue.
By making a few adjustments to conventional techniques the cue does possess the necessary sensitivity to produce a good hit, something so many cues for beginners lack. The cues have a small deflection making it easier to play with english. This makes a possible future conversion to a technically superior and more expensive cue simpler. Personally, I'm very pleased with the result; a fine cue for a good price.
